Abstract:
To reduce the volume of the locking device, to improve the portability of the locking device, and to reduce the possibility of theft of the bicycle, as compared to conventional bicycle locking devices, the present invention provides a bicycle locking device comprising: (i) a locking rod installed in a fork frame disposed in the region corresponding to a bicycle wheel, and configured to rotate in the direction intersecting the lengthwise direction of the fork frame and to slide toward the wheel so as to lock the wheel; and (ii) a fixing unit arranged in the fork frame at a first end side of the locking rod, having a guide shaft serving as a base shaft for the rotation of the locking rod and serving as a base shaft for guiding the sliding motion of the locking rod, and having a locker for locking and fixing the rod which has rotated and slid. The fixing unit does not rotate during the rotation of the locking rod. The locking rod has a groove which has a shape corresponding to the shape of the guide shaft and which enables the locking rod to rotate and slide, in such a manner that the locking rod rotates, about the guide shaft, in the direction intersecting the lengthwise direction of the fork frame, and then slides toward the wheel while contacting the guide shaft.
