Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a bicycle parking device which universally allows bicycles with different wheel sizes to be stably held in spite of the use of an extremely simple structure, and a space-saving bicycle parking facility which utilizes the bicycle parking device. [Solution] A bicycle parking device (10) for holding a bicycle in an upright state on a placement surface (S) is equipped with a holding member (1) for holding a wheel (W) of a bicycle and a connecting member (2) for connecting the holding member (1) to a receiving member (P), wherein the holding member (1) is constructed with a rod-shaped molded body having a pair of inclined sections (11) which are inclined at an acute angle with respect to the placement surface (S) and are positioned so as to sandwich the wheel (W) on both sides, a folded section (12) which is provided at one end of each inclined section (11) and continuously connects the inclined sections (11), and a connecting section (13) which extends from the other end of one of the inclined sections (11) in a different direction from that of the inclined sections (11) and is to be connected to the connecting member (2). In addition, a bicycle parking facility (100) is constructed by connecting multiple bicycle parking devices (10) to the rod-shaped receiving member (P), which is installed in parallel with the placement surface (S) in the length direction, with the bicycle parking devices being arranged at intervals from each other in the length direction of the receiving member (P).
