Abstract:
A bicycle rim manufacturing method. Required holes such as back holes (3), spoke holes (1), or recesses (4) are firstly formed before an extruded aluminum alloy profile (2) is curved to form a rim, the extruded aluminum alloy profile (2) can be directly placed on a common machine tool, and the back holes (3), the spoke holes (1), and the recesses (4) can be manufactured by cooperating with a conventionally used positioning device, such that the production cost of the rim can be greatly reduced; meanwhile, the back holes (3), the recesses (4) and the spoke holes (1) can be firstly formed on the extruded aluminum alloy profile (2) for later use, and the extruded aluminum alloy profile is then curved according to requirements to form the rim having a required size, such that production can also be completed when there are a small number of customizations or when there are not only a small number of customizations but also special size requirements, and the method is not only suitable for batch production but also suitable for personalized customization, and achieves low production cost and high production efficiency.
