Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bicycle tail lamp and a control method therefor. The tail lamp according to one embodiment of the present invention, which is a bicycle tail lamp mounted on a bicycle and capable of turning on the light towards the back, comprises: an inertia measurement unit comprising an accelerometer and measuring the acceleration of the bicycle; a travel state estimation unit for estimating the travel state of the bicycle on the basis of an acceleration measurement value measured by the accelerometer of the inertia measurement unit; a light management unit for controlling the turning on or off of the light of the tail lamp according to the travel state of the bicycle estimated by the travel state estimation unit; and a communication unit capable of the transmission/reception of data by wirelessly communicating with an external device. Herein the travel state estimation unit estimates the travel state of the bicycle by excluding the influence of gravity from the acceleration measurement value measured by the accelerometer of the inertia measurement unit.
