Abstract:
The invention concerns a bicycle for general use, suitable for urban and rural traffic, for tourism and also for competition. The bicycle comprises a frame (A) with a front fork (B) and a rear fork (B1) with rollers (64) acting on a profile (35, 65) connected by means of a rim spacer to the outer wheel rim (61), the rear fork (B1) further comprises two fixed arms (2b, 2c) and a mobile drive arm (9). The mobile drive arm (9) is connected to a rotating spindle (40) supported in a collar (27) in the center of the rear fork, the spindle being rotated by a drive mechanism comprising a telescopic arm (10) connected to the pedal crank (78).

CLAIMS
1. The bicycle is characterised by the fact that it is constituted of a frame (A), to which the front wheel is a fork (B), the gearing being done by mobile rollers (64), situated on a profile (35) correlated with a clamping device (66) on a spacer (67) screwed on the rim, while at the rear wheel there is a fork (B1) with three arms (2a, 2b, 2c), having a double collar in its centre (27). There is a suspension (70) between the profile (35) and the rim (61).
2. According to the claim, the bicycle 1. Characterised by the fact that the wheel rotation is performed through a driving gear (54) mounted on a spindle (40) to which a telescopic arm (37) with pedal (80) is correlated. The system is equipped with a speed changer (6) and with a direct system (59) linked to the driving gear. (54) 3. According to the claim, the bicycle 1. Description:
BICYCLE Live spindle, spindle brake, direct rim suspension and telescopic transmission DESCRIPTION There are bicycles designed for the transport of persons, made up of a steering device, correlated to a frame and a pedaling device.

Their disadvantage consists in a heavy movement of the bicycle, generated by the spokes venting system against the frontal and lateral air currents. The suspension system leads to a decrease of the speed during the pedaling on a rough ground and to discomfort. The transmission system of the current models, with a modulus for changing the speed, does not increase the speed because of the reduced force angle on sprockets, the chain can also spring off or can brake while pedaling. The pedaling is also heavy because the impulse on the pedal is lost on the gearing plate. Irrespective of the construction characteristics (material, design), the pedaling force is not significantly modified.

The braking system on the rim or on the plate are not very advantageous because a the big impulse of the wheels, the braking radius being to large.

The technical problems solved by invention, because the bicycle is made up of a frame, on the front wheel being mounted a three-arm fork, of which one is mobile, the gearing being effected by mobile rollers that are on a profile, which is fixed on the rim by a fix spacer or by a mobile suspension, the same driving gear being on the rear wheel, for which the stability of the rear fork is assured by two arms on the same side, welded on the frame. The gearing of the rear wheels is effected by a central spindle fixed on a device on the center of the rear fork, coordinated by a distributor. The gearing from the pedal to the driving gear is done by a telescopic arm fixed on the pedal, which favors to a more efficient pedaling, irrespective of the pedal angle, eliminating the dead angle of the rotation. The braking system is attached directly to the swivel pin of the driving gear, providing an increased efficacy in stopping quicker the momentum of the rotation movement.

The bicycle, according to the invention, eliminates the disadvantages, because it is made up of two new wheel clamping arms, on one side, front/rear, by mounting a new pedaling device and because its easy movement which generates the gravitational impulse, by the separation of the two forces, the driving one and that of the weight.

The bicycle, according to the invention, presents the following advantages: -- a new design of the frame and of the forks, by which the air currents pass fluently; -- the increase of the stability on the bicycle; -- a new device for clamping the rim by means of a slewing arm -- ergonomic position while pedaling ; -- braking system on the live spindle ; -- decrease of the risk of accident.

The wheel propulsion is performed with the three arms la, lb, Ic, some gearing rollers 64 being situated at the back, the arm 18 is slewing, allowing the wheel blocking/unblocking and centering, which rotates on the profile 35, which is fixed on a clamping device 66, correlated with a spacer 5,67, screwed up on the rim 4,61. An elastic plastic-made mask 3,81 is applied in order to protect the rollers against dirt and water, the guiding being performed through the handle bar D. In order to centre the slewing arm 15,18, it is secured through two rings 14,17. The slewing of the arm is performed by pulling it down on the equaliser spring 16. The protection of the equaliser spring 16, is done with a rubber sleeve C.

The A frame is correlated on the back with the fork Bl, where the propulsion is done by means of the three arms 2a, 2b, 2c, at whose end there are gearing rollers 64, the arm 26 is slewing allowing the wheel blocking/unblocking and centering, that spin on the profile 35, which is fixed on a claming device 66, correlated with a spacer 5,67, screwed up to the rim 4,61. The suspension on the rim is ensured by a slewing device 70 with a spring 69, having the same mounting properties as the ones mentioned above. An elastic plastic-made mask is applied in order to protect the roles of dirt or water, while the tyre 62 is mounted on the rim. A supplementary arm 25 is mounted in order to stabilise the fork. The centring of the slewing arm 22,26 is ensured by two rings 21,24. The slewing of the arm 18 is done by pulling it down on the equaliser spring 23. The protection of the equaliser spring 23 is made with a sleeve C. On the arms 2a, 2b, 2c, on the centre of the wheel is mounted a double collar 27, on which the rotation spindle 40 equipped at the ends with threads 41a, 41b. The driving gear 54, with a rotation device 58 is mounted on the rotation spindle, being blocked with a lid 55. The rotation is achieved through pellets. In order to avoid a continuous pedaling, the system is equipped with an interior blocking/unblocking paddle 57, with a segment of oblique teeth 60, mounted on the gearing cylinder 54. The speed change gear 6, is equipped with a steering gear 46, in which a cylinder with thread 48 is mounted. The change of the speed stages is done by an elastic cable connected to the exterior cable 50, to with a mini position cylinder 45, equipped at the other en with an extension spindle 44 at the other end is connected. The steering gear 46 is connected to the driving gear 54 with angle spacer 53, fixed by rivets 52. For this system, the speeds change in conical angle. Also, a direct device may also be mounted on the driving gear 54. In order to create a wheel inertia, on the rotation spindle 40, a blocking/unblocking screw nut 42 equipped with an orifice 43 on which a spoke 9.34 is mounted. is mounted at the second thread 41b. For protecting the speed change cable 8 is applied a rubber sleeve 30,49. The mechanism gearing 54, on the steering gear side 46 there is a bearing 51, which is done by the pedal 11,80, on the pedal pin is mounted a bearing 79, fixed on the gearing arm 78. To these there is correlated a telescopic arm 10,32,37, to the end sides of which there are two hangers 38, these being blocked by rivets 39. The opening/closing of the telescopic arm 37, during the rotation, is done by an extension spring 36 or by many springs. For an efficient braking, on the swivel pin 40, there is a plate 71. The braking is done by two rubber shoes 72 fixed by two flexible arms 74, by means of an extension spring 73. The braking system is fixed by a plate 75, fixed by the secondary arm 25. The braking is done through an external cable 76. For the wheels inflation, the space between the valve 68 and the profile 35 allows the easily introduction of the pump.

To this model can be mounted all the accessories headlamp, generator, catadioptre, luggage grid, mud covers.
