Abstract:
Disclosed is a bidirectional clutch. The bidirectional clutch comprises a housing (1), an outer ring (2) rotating in the housing (1), and an inner ring (3) rotating in the outer ring (2). Multiple sets of wedge blocks (4) are provided between the outer ring (2) and the inner ring (3). Each set of wedge blocks (4) comprises two wedge blocks (4) oppositely arranged in a splayed shape. The wedge blocks (4) are hinged to the inner ring (3). Springs (5) for keeping the wedge blocks (4) swinging away from the outer ring (2) are mounted on the outer sides of the wedge blocks (4). A moving rod (6) moving axially is arranged between the two wedge blocks (4) of each set. The moving rod (6) is provided with a V-shaped elastic part (7) being inserted to open the two wedge blocks (4) upon movement of the moving rod (6). The moving rods (6) are mounted on a rotary frame (8) in a radial sliding manner. The rotary frame (8) and the housing (1) are arranged to cooperate to drive the rotary frame (8) to move axially along with the rotation of the rotary frame (8).
