Abstract:
The present invention relates to Bifidobacterium longum CBT BG7 having excellent growth promotion effects, which has been deposited into an international repository as KCTC 12200BP at the Korean Collection for Type Culture (KCTC), and to a functional food composition containing same for promoting growth. The strain according to the present invention aids digestion of human milk oligosaccharides to enhance physical strength and strengthen immunity, thereby effectively promoting growth and development.
