Title:
BIFOCAL PLANAR ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2000021154
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a microwave antenna for simultaneously receiving the radiation fields of N>/=2 satellites which are positioned in orbit, displaced in relation to one another by given azimuth angles phi . Said microwave antenna has radiating elements which are divided into N groups (1a, 1b; 1a', 1b'; 1a'', 1b'', 1c''). Said groups (1a, 1b; 1a', 1b'; 1a'', 1b'', 1c'') are each connected to a feeding point via a line distribution system (5a). Each of the N groups (1a, 1b; 1a', 1b'; 1a'', 1b'', 1c'') of radiating elements is arranged in a respective plane and the surface normals (FN) of the planes point in the direction of the corresponding satellites once the microwave antenna has been directed.
