Abstract:
Disclosed is a bilge discharge facilitating pipe which discharges bilge into a bilge well in such a way that no influence is exerted on unloading work, and that no danger-involving work needs to be performed. The bilge discharge facilitating pipe (10) performs an operation wherein the bilge (130) contained in a cargo (120) loaded into a cargo hold (110) is discharged into the bilge well (140) via a drain outlet (114) provided on a bottom surface (112) of the cargo hold. The bilge discharge facilitating pipe is configured by being provided with a first portion (20), a second portion (30), and a third portion (40). The first portion is provided on a side wall surface (116). The side surface of the first portion is provided with a plurality of holes which communicate with a hollow portion, and is located at a position higher than the bottom surface (112). The second portion is provided in such a way as to extend from above the bottom surface of the cargo hold to the inside of the drain outlet on the bottom surface of the cargo hold. Furthermore, the third portion connects the first portion and the second portion to each other.
