Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bill deposit and withdrawal apparatus. The bill deposit and withdrawal apparatus comprises: a deposit and withdrawal unit in which a client deposits or withdraws bills; a sheet feed route in which the bills deposited or withdrawn through the deposit and withdrawal unit are transferred; a determination unit for determining abnormal states of the bills; a plurality of receiving units for receiving the bills deposited in the deposit and withdrawal unit according to the determined result of the determination unit or for receiving the bills withdrawn from the deposit and withdrawal unit; and a control unit for controlling a series of operations in a bill deposit and withdrawal process. The deposit and withdrawal unit comprises: a separate stack part which is composed of a plurality of rollers so as to separate the deposited bills from each other, to transfer each of the separated bills to the sheet feed route, and to stack the bills to be withdrawn within the deposit and withdrawal unit; a front plate which is positioned at the separate stack unit and can be moved in front and rear directions; and a push plate which is positioned at a rear end of the front plate and can be moved in the front and rear directions, the bills to be deposited or withdrawn being positioned in a space between the front plate and the push plate.
