Abstract:
This bill processing system (200) comprises a control unit (204) which executes, for bills to be collated, a process of collation between a second code read by an identification unit (202) and a first code stored in a storage unit (203), wherein the control unit determines that the first code coincides with the second code when the symbols of a specific digit coincide with each other and digits other than the specific digit, the symbols of which do not coincide with each other, are equal to or smaller than a prescribed number, and determines that the first code does not coincide with the second code when the symbols of the specific digit do not coincide with each other or the digits other than the specific digit, the symbols of which do not coincide with each other, exceed the prescribed number.
