Abstract:
The bill serial numbers included in a bundle of bills, the bundle ID unique for the bundle of bills, and operator’s information are associated with each other and stored, thereby comprehensively managing from bill deposits to after withdrawals including operators.
A bill processing system comprises a bill identification device (100), a terminal device (200), and a bill bundling device (300). The bill identification device (100) identifies and counts bills, detects serial numbers, and transmits the serial numbers of the respective bills included in a bundle of bills to the terminal device (200). The terminal device (200) generates only one bundle ID (unique number) for one bundle of bills, associates the bundle ID with the bill serial numbers included in the bundle of bills corresponding to the bundle ID, and stores the bundle ID and the serial numbers. The bill bundling device (300) prints the bundle ID received from the terminal device (200) on a bundling band and bundles the bills using the bundling band.
