Title:
BINARY HEAT PUMP AND REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/098005
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a binary heat pump wherein the heating capability, the cooling capability, and the coefficient of performance of a low-temperature side heat pump and a high-temperature side heat pump are improved. In a first upstream side condensation element (12U) of a low-temperature side heat pump (1), water is preheated by condensation heat (QL11) released from a first refrigerator (R404A). In a second evaporation element (24) of the high-temperature side heat pump (2), a second refrigerant (R134a) is evaporated by condensation heat (QL12) released in a first downstream side condensation element (12L). Thus, the temperature of the preheated water is further increased by condensation heat (QH11) released in a second upstream side condensation element (22U) of the high-temperature side heat pump. Further, condensation heat (QH12) released in a second downstream side condensation element (22L) of the high-temperature side heat pump (2) is stored in a heat storage tank (4). When the heat can be sufficiently stored in the heat storage tank (4), the low-temperature side heat pump (1) absorbs heat quantity (QL2a) from the heat storage tank.
