Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a binder composition for electrodes, which enables a battery to have long-term reliability, namely high capacity retention rate and high initial charge/discharge efficiency; a slurry for electrodes; an electrode using this slurry for electrodes; and a battery.
The present invention provides a binder composition for electrodes, which contains (a) at least one resin selected from among resins (a-1) to (a-3) and (b) a basic compound.
(a-1) a polyhydroxystyrene resin
(a-2) a polystyrene resin having at least one group selected from among a carboxyl group and a sulfonic acid group in a side chain
(a-3) a phenolic resin
