Abstract:
Disclosed is a binder composition for mineral wool, the composition comprising: a poly(vinyl alcohol) resin; an isocyanate compound having two or more reactive groups selected from among an isocyanate group and blocked isocyanate groups; and an aqueous medium. The isocyanate compound is contained in an amount of 12-90 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the contained poly(vinyl alcohol) resin.
