Abstract:

Provided are an electrode for a non-aqueous secondary battery having excellent adhesion, and a binder composition which allows fabrication of a non-aqueous secondary battery that is excellent in suppressing metal deposition on an electrode during charging and that has excellent storage characteristics of discharge capacity. A binder composition for a non-aqueous secondary battery electrode of the present invention contains a particulate polymer and a surfactant, wherein the particulate polymer has a volume average particle size of 0.01 μm or more and 0.1 μm or less, and the surfactant content is 0.1 parts by mass or more and 1.0 part by mass or less in relation to 100 parts by mass of the particulate polymer.
