Abstract:

The present invention provides a binder composition for a non-aqueous secondary cell with which it is possible to form a slurry composition for a non-aqueous secondary cell functional layer having exceptional viscosity stability and a functional layer for a non-aqueous secondary cell having exceptional pressability. This binder composition for a non-aqueous secondary cell contains a particulate polymer comprising a polymer having a block region that comprises an aromatic vinyl monomer unit, and water, the surface acid amount of the particulate polymer being 0.05-0.9 mmol/g.
