Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a binder composition which, in addition to suppressing swelling of a secondary battery after a cycle, can also form a functional layer that is able to increase charge carrier acceptance of the secondary battery at a low temperature. The binder composition of the present invention includes a first polymer, a second polymer, and a solvent. The first polymer is a block copolymer which has: a block region comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer unit; and a block region comprising an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit and/or an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer hydride unit. The second polymer is a random copolymer which includes a 1,3-pentadiene unit and/or a 1,3-pentadiene hydride unit.
