Abstract:

The present invention provides a binder composition for secondary battery electrodes, which enables good dispersion of a conductive material when used for the preparation of a slurry composition for secondary battery electrodes. The present invention also provides a slurry composition for secondary battery electrodes, in which a conductive material is dispersed well. A binder composition for secondary battery electrodes according to the present invention contains a solvent and a copolymer containing an alkylene structural unit and a nitrile group-containing monomer unit. The Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 at 100°C) of the copolymer is 40 or less. In addition, a slurry composition for secondary battery electrodes according to the present invention contains an electrode active material, a conductive material, the above-described binder composition for secondary battery electrodes, and a polymer other than the above-described copolymer.
