Provided are: a binder for electricity storage devices, which has excellent binding properties and enables the achievement of good charge/discharge characteristics; a binder composition which uses this binder for electricity storage devices; an electrode mixture; an electrode; and a secondary battery.
A binder for electricity storage devices, which is composed of a fluorine-containing copolymer that has a constituent unit (A) based on a monomer (a) described below and a constituent unit (B) based on a monomer (b) described below.
Monomer (a): at least one compound selected from the group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, chlorotrifluoroethylene and perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) represented by CF2=CF-O-Rf
Monomer (b): at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formula (II) and compounds represented by formula (III)
