Abstract:
A binder resin for toners, which comprises an amorphous polyester having a furan ring; and a toner for electrophotographic purposes, which contains the binder resin. This binder resin for toners can be used suitably in a toner which can be used for, for example, the development of a latent image that is formed in an electrophotographic process, an electrostatic recording process, an electrostatic printing process or the like.
