Abstract:
An inexpensive binding band for a bird band of a simple structure which can be fixed
easily to a bird band but cannot be removed easily, can identify individual birds
surely and easily and can receive, store or transmit information or record concerning
a race with no error, and can prevent abuse surely. A bird band structure is also
provided. The binding band (1) for a bird band is constituted of a body section
(2), an insertion end portion (3) provided at one end portion of the body section
(2), an engagement holding section (4) provided at the other end portion of the
body section (2) while having a hollow insertion passage section (25) into which
the insertion end portion (3) is inserted irreversibly and held in place, and
an information processing section (7) which is a portion of the body section (2)
and located between the central part (C) and the insertion end portion (3) of the
body section (2) such that predetermined information can be stored and transmited/received.
