Abstract:
Disclosed is a technique for providing a binding update method capable of eliminating a state that a BA message continuous travelling between HA. According to the technique, i.e., a binding update method, a mobile terminal transmits a first message containing an address indicating a packet transfer destination destined to a home agent of the mobile terminal to the home agent of the mobile terminal. The home agent of the mobile terminal updates a cache in which the home address of the mobile terminal is correlated with the address indicating the packet transfer destination destined to the home agent of the mobile terminal. A second message as the response to the first message is transmitted to the to the mobile terminal. When the mobile terminal has received the second message, a third message reporting that the second message has been received is transmitted to the home agent of the mobile terminal. The home agent of the mobile terminal updates the cache after receiving the third message.
