Abstract:
Provided is a method for creating a binocular loupe affording a practitioner a wider field of view and a brighter and clearer image quality, the binocular loupe including a replaceable loupe body having a desired focal adjustment part and a desired magnification. The binocular loupe comprises: a pair of left and right loupe bodies 3 having a built-in optical system; an eyeglass frame 10 for holding a carrier lens 4 that supports the pair of loupe bodies 3 in such a manner as to direct the loupe bodies toward an object to be observed, that is, in a viewing direction; and a cylindrical loupe holder 9 that is attached to the carrier lens 4 and that detachably receives eyepiece end portion of the pair of loupe bodies 3 such that the eyepiece end portion is inserted. The loupe holder 9 and at least eyepiece-side member of the pair of loupe bodies 3 is formed by a fabrication method such as precision high-compression molding or multi-gate injection molding, in which a plastic magnet material formed by molding a mixture resulting from mixing magnetic powder with plastic material is used, the fabrication method producing a material that is thin but has a high magnetic flux density performance.
