Abstract:
A bio-hybrid electronics system (1) has: a substrate (2); a fiber layer (3) including an extracellular matrix in which cells are produced, said fiber layer having vacuoles (4) produced by decellularization, and said fiber layer being disposed on the outer surface of the substrate (2) or from the outer surface through the interior of the substrate (2); and an electronic device (5) for receiving an electrical or chemical signal from an organism or for feeding an electrical or chemical signal to an organism, the electronics device (5) being disposed in contact with the fiber layer.
