Abstract:
The present invention provides a bioabsorbable medical material which has close adhesiveness to a biological tissue and is improved in degradability. The bioabsorbable medical material according to the present invention comprises a crosslinked polymer material capable of forming a specific shape and a collapse delay material supported on the crosslinked polymer material. The crosslinked polymer material has such degradability in water that the degradation of the crosslinked polymer material can be suppressed in the presence of an acid, and the collapse delay material can release an acid until day-7 at a rate of 0.5 mol%/day upon the contact with water at 37°C.
