Abstract:
Provided are a biochip for measuring blood glucose levels, and a blood glucose meter for a smartphone, containing the same. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a biochip for measuring blood glucose levels, comprising: a substrate in which a blood glucose inflow region into which blood glucose flows and a reaction region connected to the blood glucose inflow region are formed on one surface, and a concave portion is formed at the reaction region; a porous separation membrane facing one surface of the substrate and arranged on the blood glucose inflow region; and silica nanoparticles and a reaction reagent distributed on the reaction region of the substrate. Accordingly, blood glucose levels can be conveniently measured by using an easily portable biochip for measuring blood glucose levels and a CMOS image sensor, and particularly, blood glucose levels can be conveniently measured by using a CMOS image sensor provided to a smartphone, and blood glucose levels can be quantitatively measured and checked by a blood glucose meter application installed on a smartphone.
