Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a biocompatible laminate which is a laminate comprising an insulating base material and a metal coating film, e.g., an electroless gold plating, formed on the surface of the insulating base material and can be used suitably in a medical device, and in which the adhesion of the insulating base material to the metal coating film is good, and which has high biocompatibility in the entire of a process associating with the formation of the metal coating film; and a biocompatible electronic part. For solving the problem, a biocompatible laminate is provided, which comprises an insulating base material and a metal coating film made from a metal having biocompatibility and laminated on the insulating base material, said biocompatible laminate being characterized in that an adhesive layer is provided between the insulating base material and the metal coating film, the adhesive layer has a nanoporous or interlocking structure having fine pores or fine grooves each including the metal therein and each having a depth of 10 to 120 nm inclusive, and the insulating base material and the metal coating film are physically and/or chemically bonded to each other through the adhesive layer.
