Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are biodegradable polymer beads manufactured using a device comprising an extruder and a underwater pelletizing system, wherein at least one extruder is used to perform a pre-mixing reaction on raw materials, followed by extrusion after the reaction; and an extrudate is injected to the pelletizing system and the pressure of process water in the pelletizing system and the saturated vapor pressure of a foaming agent of the extrudate are controlled, and thus the extrudate is used to obtain expandable/expanded beads. In the present invention, through the selection of an appropriate biodegradable polymer raw material, the control of the determination performance and foaming performance of the polymer system, and the selection of appropriate underwater pelletizing process conditions, the air volume, foaming rate, and the like of the biodegradable polymer beads are controlled and foamed beads of the biodegradable polymer are continuously and efficiently produced.
