Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biodegradable suture type cell delivery system, a method for preparing the same and a biodegradable suture using the same. The biodegradable suture type cell delivery system of the present invention can improve cell affinity by adhering a material of cell affinity on a biodegradable suture surface after fixing a compound with a hydrophilic functional group on the biodegradable suture surface of a hydrophobic material and modifying the surface to have hydrophilic property, wherein the biodegradable suture is made of a biodegradable polymeric material partially having a bulky structure. In addition, the biodegradable suture type cell delivery system can function as a support for cell culture since the bulky structure would be favorable for the proliferation of cell or tissue. Therefore, the biodegradable suture type cell delivery system of the present invention can enhance an engraftment rate of stem cells.
