Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biofeedback apparatus using a magnetic stimulator. The biofeedback apparatus measures the change in pressure due to muscle exercise of the pelvic floor muscle by placing a tube, which is filled with nonconductive fluid, between the magnetic stimulator and the pelvic floor muscle of a patient, thereby enabling biofeedback without inserting an instrument for measuring pressure or electromyogram into the vagina, the urethra and the like. Since the operations of the magnetic stimulator and a pressure transducer do not interfere with each other in the biofeedback apparatus, a controller continuously monitors a pelvic floor muscle pressure change state by using the pressure transducer and simultaneously controls the intensity of the magnetic field generated from the magnetic stimulator to the optimum value according to the monitored state, thereby maximizing treatment effects. According to the present invention, it is possible to simultaneously carry out biofeedback therapy using monitoring through pressure measurement, and therapy using magnetic stimulation without inserting an instrument into the human body such as the vagina, the urethra and the like.
