Abstract:
A biological sample analysis system according to an embodiment comprises: an emitting unit for emitting light onto a biological particle in a biological sample; a detecting unit provided with a plurality of event pixels each of which detects, as an event, a change in brightness of light radiated from the biological particle as a result of the emission of the light from the emitting unit, the event pixels being arranged in a two-dimensional grid formation, and the detecting unit outputting event data including address information of each event pixel and information relating to a time at which the events were detected by each event pixel; a generating unit which uses each of a plurality of adjustment amounts to adjust the time information of some of the plurality of items of event data, and which generates image data relating to the biological particle for each adjustment amount, using the plurality of items of event data including the event data having the adjusted time information; an evaluating unit for evaluating each of the plurality of items of image data; and a processing unit which generates biological particle information relating to the biological particle on the basis of the image data having the highest evaluation from the evaluating unit, among the plurality of items of image data.
