Abstract:
In a biological treatment method and device for organic wastewater in which the organic wastewater is, subsequent to anaerobic treatment, subjected to aerobic treatment in a first aerobic tank, after which protozoans and metazoans are used in a second aerobic tank to consume bacteria, the purpose of the present invention is to enable protozoans and metazoans to dominate in the second aerobic tank and to decrease SS that is derived from anaerobic treatment and difficult to flocculate. In the anaerobic biological treatment process, anaerobic treatment is carried out such that the CODcr volume load of the entire body in the aerobic biological treatment process becomes equal to or less than 10kg/m3/d, and the soluble CODcr volume load becomes equal to or less than 5kg/m3/d. In the first aerobic tank, aerobic treatment is carried out such that the SS load of the first aerobically treated water to the medium of the second aerobic tank becomes equal to or less than 15kg-SS/m3-medium/d.
