Abstract:
Provided is a biological treatment device in which a problem associated with conventional activated sludge devices having a sedimentation tank is fundamentally solved, and bulking is prevented from occurring. A biological treatment method and device having an aeration tank 1 in which air is fed from a diffuser 3, to which air is fed from an air pump 2, into a biological treatment liquid obtained by combining microorganisms and organic wastewater, and organic matter contained in the biological treatment liquid is decomposed, the aeration tank 1 being provided with a microbubble generation device 5 for homogenizing the biological treatment liquid and preventing floc formation.
