Abstract:

A spherically shaped solid fuel consisting of residues of fruit or berries (peel, pulp, endocarp, stones) and organic adhesive, and comprising less than 15% of water, preferably less than 10% of water. The fuel is preferably based on olive residues and comprises more than 40% by weight of ground endocarps. The invention also comprises a forming process and a process for supplying a furnace suitable for the fuel.
