Abstract:
A biomass cake pressure-feeding device equipped with: a screw pump, which has a first screw having a helical first transport tooth, a second screw having a helical second transport tooth, and a casing accommodating the first screw and the second screw in parallel, and which dispenses to a high-pressure reactor a biomass cake in which water has been added to a powder of a biomass; and a constricting unit, which is positioned downstream from the screw pump and restricts the flow of the biomass cake, thereby forming a material seal by means of the biomass cake.
