Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a biomaterial-based drug delivery patch, which is a patch in a multilayer structure comprising an inner core layer and an outer layer surrounding the inner core layer, wherein the inner core layer and the outer layer are each composed of an extracellular matrix-based hybrid ink, the hybrid ink including an amine group-bearing extracellular matrix, a modified biopolymer having an ethylenically unsaturated bonding functional group introduced thereinto, and a growth factor, the extracellular matrix and the modified biopolymer, which are components of the hybrid ink, existing in a chemically crosslinked state, the extracellular matrix-based hybrid ink accounting for the inner core layer and the extracellular matrix-based hybrid ink accounting for the outer core layer being different in chemical crosslinking density and containing respective growth factors different from each other. Having a multilayer structure formed of extracellular matrix-based hybrid inks which are different in chemical crosslinking density, the biomaterial-based drug delivery patch according to an embodiment of the present invention can control the release order and rate of drugs.
