Abstract:
In an authentication system including a storage device for storing a feature quantity of a living body, an imaging device for imaging the living body, an image quality correcting unit for converting an image quality of an image captured by the imaging device, and an authentication processing device, a pre-color correction image of one or a plurality of images in which the living body has been captured is generated, and a plurality of color information converted images are generated by converting the pre-color correction image using a plurality of values within a predetermined search range relating to color information. For each biometric feature, optimal color information is searched for from the color information converted image in which the biometric feature is expressed most, for each biometric feature, among the plurality of color information converted images.
