Abstract:
In the present invention, achieved is highly accurate measurement even for a subject or a measurement position for which the degree of impact on surface tissue varies. Provided is a means for acquiring a parameter that is for the foregoing and is related to brain depth. A biophotonic measuring device comprises the following: a pressure measuring unit; a pressure receiving unit for receiving pressure; a pressure unit for pressuring a subject at a light emission and detection position in the subject; and a pressure control section for controlling the pressure applied to the pressure receiving section. From the measurements made during pressuring, calculated is the distance dependency between an emitter and detector for blood amount changes which are internal information of the subject and originate from a deep area. Using such dependency, a signal at the time of non-pressuring is divided into deep region-originating and shallow region-originating signals, and the contribution of the shallow region-originating signals is quantified.
