Provided are a biopsy needle device, a holder, and a biopsy needle which can collect multiple tissues from the same portion and can collect an increased amount of tissues. A biopsy needle device is provided with a support member (500) for supporting an inner needle (2) so that the inner needle (2) can advance rectilinearly in the direction of the axis and can rotate about the axis. The tip (21) of the inner needle has a sharp-pointed shape, and as a result, the inner needle can smoothly enter tissue without damaging the tissue. Also, a helically shaped groove section (22) is formed in the outer periphery of the inner needle, and as a result, the inner needle can enter the tissue while rotating automatically. By this, the inner needle can capture multiple tissues of the same portion into the groove and can continuously capture an increased amount of tissues. Also, the tissues captured in the groove are in contact with the groove wall and are not displaced in the direction toward the tip of the inner needle, and as a result, the increased amount of tissues captured in the helical groove can be collected as it is.
