Abstract:

This biopsy treatment tool includes: a flexible sheath; an inserted part that can advance and retract inside the flexible sheath; a sample collecting recess provided in the side surface of the inserted part; a capacitive ultrasonic vibrator array provided on the bottom surface of the sample collecting recess; and a slide part that makes the inserted part and the flexible sheath slide relative to one another in a manner so as to open and close the sample collecting recess. Whether or not a sample has been taken into the sample collecting recess is determined on the basis of a reflected wave received by the capacitive ultrasonic vibrator array, and thus, it is possible to collect a sample reliably.
