Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bioreactor, whereby a bioreaction using a microorganism or cells can be efficiently and economically carried out, and a bioreaction method using the bioreactor. To solve this problem, the bioreactor according to the present invention and the bioreaction method using the bioreactor are characterized in that: dissolved carbon dioxide is removed from a liquid culture medium (4), which contains a microorganism or cells, through a carbon dioxide-permeable membrane under reduced pressure; and micronanobubbles of an oxygen-containing gas are supplied to the liquid culture medium (4), from which dissolved carbon dioxide has been removed, and then the liquid culture medium (4) is recirculated into a culture tank (1).
