Abstract:
This bipolar plate, arranged between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a redox flow battery, comprises, on a surface of the bipolar plate facing at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode, multiple grooves through which an electrolyte solution flows, and a ridge positioned between neighboring grooves. In at least a portion of the groove inner surfaces configuring the grooves, the surface roughness is greater than or equal to 0.1 µm by arithmetic average thickness Ra.
