Title:
BIPOLAR PLATES OF FUEL CELL AND STACK STRUCTURE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/081792
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to bipolar plates that are formed on both sides of a membrane electrode assembly, and supply hydrogen and oxygen gas to electrodes of the membrane electrode assembly, and more specifically, to bipolar plates of a fuel cell and a stack structure using same, the bipolar plates comprising: a plurality of unit plates made of a conductive material; separating members made of a nonconductive material for eletrically separating each of the unit plates; and a fluid channel formed to communicate each of the unit plates and the separating members placed on an identical plane, so as to enable the supply and discharge of gas. The present invention significantly reduces the manufacturing cost and time of fuel cell stack, and enhances the power conversion efficiency by manufacturing a high voltage stack using a fewer number of laminating cells.
