Abstract:
A bit holder device (5) has a bit holder body (10), a rolling body (30), and a sleeve (20). A first recess (22), a second recess (23), and a projection (24) are formed at positions facing a long hole (12) of the sleeve (20). Further, a band-like elastic member (15) is wound around that portion of the bit holder body (10) that faces the second recess (23). When the rolling body (30) is on the bit insertion opening side of the long hole (12), the band-like elastic member (15) closes that region of the long hole (12) which faces the second recess (23), and when the rolling body (30) is moved to the bit insertion inmost side of the long hole (12), the band-like elastic member (15) is received in the second recess (23) by being pressed by the rolling body (30). The construction enables a bit used for an electric tool to be safely, easily, and instantaneously inserted and removed.
