Abstract:
The black material according to the present invention comprises a zirconium nitride powder containing yttrium. The contained amount of yttrium with respect to a total 100 mass% of the zirconium nitride powder and yttrium is 1.0-12.0 mass%. In a spectral transmission spectrum obtained from a dispersion liquid that contains, at a concentration of 50 ppm, the zirconium nitride powder containing yttrium, when the light transmittance at a wavelength of 550 nm is defined as X1 and the light transmittance at a wavelength of 365 nm is defined as X2, X1 is 7.5% or less, X2 is 25% or more, and X2/X1 is 3.5 or more.
