Abstract:
The present invention provides: black particles which have high electrical insulation properties and can achieve a high degree of blackness in a visible light region; and a black coating material, a coating film and a black matrix for color filters, each comprising the black particles. The present invention provides black particles which comprise a copolymer having a constituent unit derived from a pyrrole compound and a constituent unit derived from a quinone compound, have an aqueous dispersion number average particle diameter of 100 nm or less, and have a zeta-potential of -5 mV or less.
