Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a black powder which enables the achievement of higher voltage-resistant performance; and a method for producing the black powder. The black powder according to the present disclosure is composed of carbon-containing silica particles. Each of the silica particles has a single-layer structure. The content of carbon in the surface of each of the silica particles is 1% by mass or less. The content of carbon in the surface of each of the silica particles can be measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy method.
