Abstract:

Disclosed is a blade edge exchangeable cutting tool capable of suppressing change in the position of a cutting edge due to the rotational momentum in multiple different directions that acts on the cutting insert with the fastening force of screws, the force of cutting resistance during cutting processing, etc.. A tip seat (21) has a bottom surface (26) and a first and second side surface (22, 24). The cutting insert (30) has a first inclined surface part (35) and a second inclined surface part (36). A first contact part (23) contacting the first inclined surface part (35) is formed on the first wall surface (22) and a second contact part (25) contacting the second inclined surface part (36) is formed on the second wall surface (24). The first and second inclined surface parts (35, 36) are configured as a flat surface. The first inclined surface part (35) is inclined at an obtuse angle to the bottom surface (26) and the second inclined surface part (36) is inclined at an acute angle to the bottom surface (26).
