Abstract:
Provided is a blade rubber which can be satisfactorily used even when it is raining or when it is snowing. An engaging part that engages with a wiper blade main body is formed in an upper section, a wiping part is formed in a lower section, a neck part that has reduced lateral width is formed between the engaging part and the wiping part, and a support part that widens in the lateral direction and has leading ends respectively extending downward is formed above the neck part. Widened lower surfaces, which have left and right respective side surfaces that gradually widen in the upward direction, and widened upper surfaces, which have side surfaces that gradually narrow in the upward direction, are formed in the wiping part. The widened upper surfaces in a no-load state are formed by constituent surfaces of 45° or less with respect to a vertical line, and when either one of the left or right widened upper surfaces comes into contact with the support part, the constituent surface of the other left or right widened upper surface is formed so as to be disposed in a range of inclination of ±15° or less with respect to the vertical line. The total dimensions of the widened upper surfaces and the widened lower surfaces in a no-load state are formed longer than the dimensions of the neck part.
